Dorinda, Vanilla, Skylar, Noelle & Zion

Look at these snazzy ladies!!

We’ve ended up with quite a lot of gerbils due to a male and female being housed together before coming into our care.

When they arrived, we split the males and females and kept a close eye on the original female, Dorinda, in case she was pregnant and was about to have a third litter.

Luckily she wasn’t! Skylar, Vanilla, Zion and Noelle are all Dorinda’s daughters.

This group are so active, and full of beans.

Gerbils make such great companions; such curious creatures.

Given the correct enclosure – you’ll see them dig away and make their little tunnel systems.

They are also very good with people.

They are always poking out their little heads to see what we are doing around the unit!
