Lotus

He is just a little man who is trying his best!!:(

Meet Lotus, he is part of an unexpected litter that was brought into our care (with their mother Daisy).

As of writing this, Lotus is only 4-weeks old and very tiny! That will change very quickly though.

Baby bunnies balloon in size each week.

Though Lotus is way too young to leave (rabbits are weaned off mum at 8-weeks old), we are wanting to get interest in Lotus early – as he is the only male in the litter.

Male rabbits get sexually mature at a very young age; sometimes even at 12 weeks old.

We will have to split Lotus from his mother and sisters when he does start getting near the age that he is starting to mature; which will make him very lonely.

We’d like to get Lotus paired up with either a neutered male rabbit, or spayed female rabbit after he gets split from his group.

Then once he is old enough, he would also need to be neutered.
